It gives you enough time to see Jaisalmer properly, spend an evening in the desert and still keep the itinerary realistic.

Jaisalmer Fort
Patwon Ki Haveli
Nathmal Ki Haveli
Salim Singh Ki Haveli
Gadisar Lake if not covered on Day 1

Keep the morning relaxed before heading towards the desert side.
Stop at Kuldhara on the way, then continue to Sam Sand Dunes for the evening.
Depending on the selected package, the desert experience can include:
camel ride
sunset at the dunes
cultural performance
dinner
desert camp stay
These should only be treated as inclusions if they are clearly mentioned in the final quote.

Check out and begin the return journey to Jaipur.
Since this is another long travel day, avoid adding major sightseeing before departure.
The Jaipur to Jaisalmer tour package price depends on the way you travel and the type of stay you choose.

Instead of comparing only the headline price, check what each quote actually includes.
EaseTrippers lets travellers compare plans and quotes from verified local travel agents before choosing.

Current options include Ranikhet Express, Leelan SF Express and Swarn Nagari Express. Journey time varies, with direct services taking roughly 10 to 13 hours depending on the train.
Some services run overnight, which can help save daytime travel.

For a short trip, an overnight bus can be practical if you are comfortable with longer road journeys.
Some travellers prefer a private road trip from Jaipur to Jaisalmer. Others would rather use an overnight train or bus and spend more of the budget on the stay or desert experience.
That changes the package quite a bit.

Never thought we would have such a great experience in Jaisalmer. Initially, we were planning to drive from home, but the distance was too much. So we took a train to Jaipur and started our package from there. It turned out to be a much better plan.
We booked a 2 days jaisalmer package and it was quite comfortable. Driver was punctual and knew the local places well. Camp food was also good.
