Udaipur, the city for which the word beautiful is an understatement. Situated between the oldest and gigantic Aravalli hills and surrounded by glimmering lakes, the “City of Lakes” feels like a painting coming to life. If you take the Udaipur tour package, you will witness the beauty of its grand palaces reflecting in the water, narrow streets with old-world, Venetian charm (hence the name Venice of the East), and beautiful dawns filled with golden hues from the Sun. The nights are even better, full of joy and laughter, and the beautiful colors of the streets. In 2009, Udaipur was voted the “World’s Best City” by Travel + Leisure readers, gaining international recognition for its lakes, palaces, heritage, and scenic beauty.
