Wonderful trip arrangements. Thank you ease trippers.
This Jaisalmer package for 3 days covers the fort, historic havelis, Gadisar Lake, Kuldhara, Khaba Fort and the Thar Desert, along with a desert safari and a flexible Day 3. Whether you’re looking for the best Jaisalmer tour package for 3 days or a more budget-friendly option, this itinerary fits both — Day 1 covers the city’s heritage, Day 2 takes you into the desert, and Day 3 stays flexible for departure.
Planning a Jaisalmer tour package 2 nights 3 days trip is simple once you decide which havelis, forts and desert experiences actually fit into your timeline. This plan brings together the city’s markets, heritage and the Thar Desert without feeling rushed.

Start with Jaisalmer Fort, including the Jain Temples within its complex. Walk through the old city lanes towards Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, taking in the carved sandstone architecture. Outside the fort, don’t miss local favourites like doodh rabri and kachori at the nearby food stalls. In the evening, head to Gadisar Lake, and if time allows, catch the sunset at Vyas Chhatri.
Locations Covered:
Jaisalmer Fort → Patwon Ki Haveli → Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli → Salim Singh Ki Haveli → Gadisar Lake → Vyas Chhatri → Local Market

After breakfast, head to Bada Bagh, known for its royal cenotaphs, followed by Kuldhara, the historic abandoned village, and nearby Khaba Fort. From here, continue to Sam Sand Dunes for your desert experience. Depending on your package and the time available, you can try activities like camel safari, jeep safari (dune bashing), ATV/quad biking, and paramotoring (weather permitting), along with an evening cultural programme. You can also opt for an overnight stay at a desert camp.
Locations Covered:
Bada Bagh → Kuldhara → Khaba Fort → Sam Sand Dunes → Camel/Jeep Safari → Desert Camp

If you stayed overnight at the desert camp, start with a quiet morning around the dunes before heading out to Tanot Mata Temple (about 120-125 km away) near the Indo-Pak border, then return to Jaisalmer for your departure — ideal if your train or flight is at night. If your ticket is in the morning instead, skip Tanot Mata and stick to something shorter, like the Jaisalmer War Museum (about 10-12 km on the Jaisalmer-Jodhpur highway) or a quick local market visit.
Locations Covered:
Desert Camp → Tanot Mata Temple (Indo-Pak Border) → Jaisalmer City → Local Shopping → Railway Station/Airport

Nice trip with friends. Patwon ki haveli was worth visiting and the desert experience was something different for us.
Never thought we would have such a great experience in Jaisalmer. Initially, we were planning to drive from home, but the distance was too much. So we took a train to Jaipur and started our package from there. It turned out to be a much better plan.
We booked a 2 days jaisalmer package and it was quite comfortable. Driver was punctual and knew the local places well. Camp food was also good.
