Early morning departure to Janki Chatti (10 km from Barkot). Begin the 6 km trek / pony / palanquin to Yamunotri Temple.
Reach the temple, seek blessings and start the return trek before early evening for a safe return to our hotel.
After breakfast, drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi along the scenic Yamuna River valley. We can stop at Hanuman Chatti and Dharasu Bend for mountain views and temple darshan. Arrive at Uttarkashi by afternoon, check in to the hotel and visit Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi; one of the oldest Lord Shiva temples.
Rest and prepare for Gangotri darshan the next morning
Early morning departure to Gangotri (3-4 hrs scenic drive) Arrive Gangotri and seek blessings at the sacred Gangotri Temple.
Optional→ Take an auspicious dip in the icy Bhagirathi River at Gangotri. Evening stroll through the city and return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Take a long but scenic drive from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi via Tehri and Rudraprayag. Arrive Guptkashi by evening, check in to the hotel. You can visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Manikarnika Kund in Guptkashi. Rest and prepare for Kedarnath darshan
Drive to the base of Kedarnath; Gaurikund and start the trek to the temple. 16-18 km of trek / pony / palanquin, we arrive at the temple. Take some rest at our night stay and in the morning seek blessings at the temple. After which we can start our return journey.
Rest and visit local temples and markets.
Visiting Chopta on the way to Joshimath from Guptkashi, through the magnificent view of the Himalayas and the Himalayan roads we cross Chamoli district and stop at a view point in Nanda Devi and reach Joshimath.
An hour drive to Badrinath base, take a ritual dip in the sacred Tapt Kund hot spring before darshan. Reach the temple and seek blessings from Lord Vishnu also known as Badri Vishal.
Later can explore Mana Village; it is India’s last village before the Tibet border (just 3 km from Badrinath).
Then visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the Saraswati River meeting point at Mana Village and begin the return journey to the night stay.
Leaving Badrinath in the morning, 8-10 hrs drive to Haridwar railway station and board the return train headed to Ahmedabad.
